Why Lehigh?: “Great academics and wrestling and wrestling tradition.”

In 2014-15: Used final season of eligibility after graduating from Cornell… began season at 174 before moving down to 165 in January… finished seventh at 165 at the EIWA Championships… placed sixth at Southern Scuffle in first action down at 165… had 13 second pin of Wyoming’s Dakota Friesth at Southern Scuffle, the third fastest fall in school history… added 17 second fall in consolations of EIWA Tournament.
In 2012-13 (at Cornell): went 19-14 with five falls and eight bonus wins… finished seventh at the EIWA Championships… took sixth at the N.Y. State Intercollegiate Championships and eighth at the Southern Scuffle.
In 2011-12 (at Cornell): Compiled 28-17 record competing between 165 and 174… qualified for NCAAs with fourth place finish at EIWA Championships… went 1-2 at NCAAs with win over Pierce Harger of Northwestern… finished third at Binghamton Open, fifth at Body Bar Invitational, seventh at Southern Scuffle and second at N.Y. States Intercollegiate Championships.
In 2010-11 (at Cornell): Competed in two open tournaments before injuries ended his season… finished fifth at Binghamton Open and sixth at Boby Bar Invitational.
In high school: Three-time state champion and four-time state finalist… three-time Beast of the East Champion… four-time Powerade Tournament champion… two-time Super 32 winner… was chosen as a member of the Wrestling USA/Cliff Keen 2010 High School Dream Team and to the Dapper Dan Wrestling Classic… went undefeated for the final two years of his high school career and had an overall 173-7 record.
Personal: Son of Walter and Kathy… has three brothers, all of whom wrestled or are currently wrestling in college… Walter was a two-time All-American at Harvard… Colton is a sophomore at Harvard… Garrett is a freshman at Virginia.
