Why Lehigh?: “Lehigh seemed like a good fit for me because it has a great combination of academics and athletics, and it is also close to home.”
In 2006-07: Posted 10-7 record competing at three different weight classes… secured four falls… made Lehigh dual debut at 125 against Pitt-Johnstown… went 5-2 at the Southern Scuffle competing at 133… filled in for injured Jeff Santo at 149 at EIWA tournament, but was eliminated after going 0-2.
In 2005-06: transferred to Lehigh prior to start of spring semester…placed second at November Body Bar Invitational and went 2-2 at the Southern Scuffle… won Northeast Senior Regional Freestyle Championship at 132 lbs. winning coin-flip over current Lehigh teammate John Stout in the finals…placed eighth at University Nationals.

In secondary school: Four-year starter with 85-27 career record… four time district place winner… three time regional place winner… named Nazareth’s outstanding athlete as a senior… placed fourth at northeast regionals to complete 31-9 senior season… member of Pennsylvania cadet and junior national teams.
Personal: Son of Thuoc Vinh and Theresa Vuong… older brother Jason (24) is a 2004 graduate of Lehigh.
