In 2008-09: Deferred eligibility… amassed 16-17 record competing in open tournaments… placed fourth at the Shorty Hitchcock Memorial tournament in January… shared seventh place at East Stroudsburg Open with teammate Kadeem Samuels…also competed in Buffalo, Mat Town, Nittany Lion, Wilkes, Edinboro and Clarion Opens.
In secondary school: In secondary school: Two-time Ohio place winner… 96-45 career record… placed fourth at 189 as a junior and seventh as a senior… went 45-12 in final season… also lettered as a linebacker on the football field.
Personal: Son of Chris (Lehigh ’79) and Laurie Bailey… brother Chris (25) and sisters Melissa (24) and Lizzy (21).
