In 2009-10: Amassed 9-7 record competing in open tournaments at Binghamton, Clarion, East Stroudsburg and Penn State… won three bouts at both Knight Point Clarion Open and Nittany Lion Open.
In 2008-09: Deferred eligibility.
In secondary school: Two-time North Carolina state champion, including incredible 58-0 record as a senior… compiled career record of 226-19… placed fifth in his weight class at NHSCA Senior Nationals.
Personal: Son of Robert and Julie Koren… brother Nick (23) and sister Jonica (24)… enjoys fishing.
