In 2013-14: Went 8-10 in 18 bouts at 141… made only dual meet appearance against Cornell in January… competed in four open tournaments plus the Midlands Championships.In 2012-13: Lehigh wrestling Scholar-Athlete of the Year… competed in ten open tournaments at 141 placing in three… took third at Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Classic, fifth at F&M Open and sixth at Wilkes Open… had two falls.
In 2011-12: Went 6-13 as a true freshman, seeing action in five duals at 141… competed at TCNJ and Wilkes Opens and Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Classic… made varsity dual debut versus Arizona State at Northeast Duals.
In secondary school: three-year team captain… posted career record of 125-42… went 39-6 as a senior, finishing fourth in the state tournament at 140… finished fourth at Eastern States… team won state dual meet and tournament titles in 2011… finalist for Capital District Scholar-Athlete Award.
Personal: Son of Maria and James Carucci, Sr.... sister Alexandra (27)… enjoys chess, paintball and studying foreign languages… owns 3.84 cumulative GPA.
