In 2004-05: Starter at 133 pounds for first half of the season…went 7-3 in duals, including 14-12 overtime thriller in first varsity bout against NC State… delivered one of the memorable moments from the season, when he pinned Michigan’s Greg Craig Gillison from the defensive position, while trailing 6-0 in the bout in November dual…went 5-1 to place second in early season West Virginia Open… scored a fall or double-digit points in seven of 12 victories
In 2003-04: deferred eligibility…went 5-2 wrestling at
In secondary school: Placed second in the AA State tournament as a senior wrestling at 130 pounds…Was undefeated heading into state tournament and was rated No. 1 by Intermat in AA in Pennsylvania at 130…Placed third in the state as a junior wrestling at 119 and eighth as a sophomore at the same weight class.
Personal: Son of James and Suzanne Santo…has an older brother Jason, 23.
