Why Lehigh: “Lehigh offers one of the strongest combinations of wrestling and academics, as well as a strong architecture program that I was looking for.”

 

In 2007-08: Competed at East Stroudsburg, Penn State and Millersville Opens… picked up first two collegiate wins, including one by fall at Millersville Open… went 2-2 at both the University Freestyle Nationals and the Northeast Senior Freestyle tournament… also competed at FILA Junior Nationals.

 

In 2006-07: Deferred eligibility… posted 2-8 record competing in four open tournaments… won matches at the Penn State and West Virginia Opens… competed unattached at the Southern Scuffle.

 

In secondary school: Placed fifth in Ohio at 135 lbs. as a senior… four year varsity letterman… named wrestling team’s Scholar-Athlete all four years…cadet national qualifier.

 

Personal: Son of Scott and Claire Hilbert… brother Tom (21) and sisters Anna (19) and Victoria (16)… enjoys hiking, travel and music.
