Why Lehigh? “For the great academics and great wrestling program.”
In 2020-21: Did not compete until winning starting spot at 184 for EIWA Championships… qualified for NCAA Championships with fifth place finish at EIWAs… went 0-2 at NCAA Championships… pinned LIU’s James Langan in 4:00 at EIWAs… punched ticket to NCAAs with 9-7 win over Drexel’s Josh Stillings… NWCA Scholar All-American… recipient of EIWA Academic Achievement Award.
In 2019-20: Wrestled five bouts at 184, going 2-3… pinned first two opponents at Journeymen Collegiate Classic, finishing second in his pool… also competed at Southern Scuffle.
In 2018-19: Did not see any action.
In 2017-18: Posted 4-6 record in first competitive season… opened season with fourth place finish at Wilkes Open… finished one win shy of placing at Midlands Championships after pinning No. 7 and No. 10 seeds… also wrestled one bout at Southern Scuffle… made dual meet debut at Virginia Tech.
In 2016-17: Deferred eligibility… went 5-8 competing unattached in open tournaments… finished with four falls… placed fourth at 184 at Mat Town Open II… also competed at Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open, F&M Open and Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Classic.
In high school: 96-41 career record including 36-9 senior season… two-time district and regional place-winner… round of 12 at the state tournament, tying school record for furthest advancement in state competition… two-time team captain in wrestling and soccer… two-time team MVP in wrestling.
Personal: Son of Sean and Stacey… has three siblings: Ean, Kyleigh and Cole… enjoys hunting and fishing.
