In 2008-09: Deferred eligibility… competed unattached in four open tournaments.
In secondary school: Amassed career mark of 152-24… went 7-0 to capture title at 140 at Reno Tournament of Champions… qualified for state tournament as a senior, going 3-2 in a 40 man bracket… enjoyed 78-7 record over final two seasons… captured a regional title as a junior… two-time sectional champion… named Scholar-Athlete of the Year in Santa Cruz County.
Personal: Son of Greg and Judy Stevens… sister Jenna (21)… enjoys surfing.
