Why Lehigh?: “I was raised on Lehigh athletics, especially wrestling, because both my father and grandfather graduated from Lehigh. I applied early decision because I knew that the combination of the academics, athletics, and social life couldn’t be beat. Also, it’s extremely convenient to be so close to home if I ever need anything.”
In 2007-08: Bumped up two weight classes to fill void at 197… started every dual meet for the Brown and White… picked up first career varsity dual win versus Dixon Jordan of Clarion… recorded four bonus wins including fall over Matt Parsons that keyed upset win over Navy.
In 2006-07: Went 6-6 in 12 bouts, earning one win by major decision… went 4-0 to win 174 lb. title at Trenton State Open in November… won two bouts at Penn State Open… made varsity dual debut wrestling up at 184 in Navy dual… also started in dual versus Brown.
In 2005-06: Deferred eligibility… split four bouts at Wilkes Open defeating wrestlers from American and Franklin & Marshall
In Secondary School: Placed sixth at 152 in very tough District XI as a senior in 2005…posted 26-11 record as a senior.
Personal: Son of Gary and Dorothy Iacocca… has three brothers, Chris (23), Max (19) and Andrew (15)… father is 1976 Lehigh graduate…enjoys working on cars and computers… member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.
