Kristin Buckley enters her second season as a graduate assistant coach. Originally from the Annapolis, Maryland area, Buckley continued her education at the University of Michigan where she earned her bachelor’s in Anthropology-Zoology in 1999. While attending Michigan, Buckley was a four-year letter winner, received two NCAA tournament bids, and was part of a Wolverines squad that won the Big Ten tournament in 1997.
Following graduation, Buckley began coaching at Dexter High School in Dexter, Michigan in the spring of 1999 where she served as the freshmen girls soccer coach. A year later, Buckley began teaching and coaching at Queen Anne High School, in Upper Marlboro, Maryland where she taught Biology/Human Biology and coached the Girls Varsity Soccer and Lacrosse teams until the summer of 2000. From 2001 to 2002 Buckley was an Assistant Soccer Coach at Iowa State University. In the summer of 2002, Buckley played on the Maryland Pride, a team in the women’s amateur soccer league.
Buckley is enrolled in Lehigh’s graduate program, where she is pursuing her master’s in Education.
