WHY LEHIGH? “When I visited Lehigh, I felt that I was in the right place. The campus, academics, athletics and location of Lehigh were just what I wanted.”
ON COACH LAMBINUS: “Coach Lambinus has a competitive mindset that sets the tone for everything we do as a team. He has already impacted the program with his energy and willingness to do what it takes in order to win the Patriot League.”
ON PLAYING SOCCER AT LEHIGH: “Playing at Lehigh allows for the combination of the highest level of competitive soccer while keeping school and the future of each individual player a top priority
AS A SENIOR (2012): Strong senior presence, primarily at midfield ... Played in nine games, starting once (on Senior Day vs. Holy Cross) ... Fired a shot against La Salle (9/23) … Had a shot in the Patriot League Semifinals at top-seeded Navy (11/2).
AS A JUNIOR (2011): Played in nine games, starting eight at defense … Part of a defense which allowed just 20 goals in 17 games (1.18 average), including one stretch of three straight shutouts mid-season … Started every game beginning vs. Binghamton (9/2) and running through Lafayette (10/1) … Had a shot vs. Monmouth (9/9), which was on goal.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2010): Played in 18 games this season (all starts) as a stabilizing presence in the back ... Second Team All-Patriot League honoree ... Finished with eight shots, four on goal … Part of a strong defense which allowed only 21 goals in 20 games, three over the final four games and 15 over the final 17 … That included one stretch of three straight shutouts bridging the end of the regular season and the entire Patriot League Tournament. In that stretch, the Mountain Hawks shut-out Lafayette, Bucknell (semifinals) and Army (championship game), all by identical 1-0 finals.
AS A FRESHMAN: Did not see any varsity action.
BEFORE LEHIGH: First-team All-Southwest Conference selection … Named Second Team All-Cleveland … Member of the National Honor Society.
