In high school: Two-time all-state lineman… four-time All-Shore/All-Division… starter on both sides of the line for last three years… team captain as a senior… also lettered in wrestling and lacrosse… three-time state qualifier and two-time place winner in wrestling… honor roll student.
Personal: Son of Sabino and Lisa Portella… brother Sabino and sister Vincenza… brother wrestles at North Carolina.
