Why Lehigh?: “Lehigh was the best combination of academics and athletics. I originally came to Lehigh for engineering so it was a good fit.”
On the Lehigh coaching staff: “They are good guys who relate well to the players. They help you develop off the field and on the field.”
Should be a starter once again at free safety … hard worker and a good leader … as a junior … started all eleven games … picked off a VMI pass with just 18 seconds remaining in the game to seal a two-point win over the Keydets (Sept. 24) … had three interceptions in 2005 … scooped up a fumble and raced 34-yards for a touchdown in the win at VMI … as a sophomore … played in 12 games … tallied 37 tackles, 21 solo … snagged a red zone interception with six seconds to go versus Colgate to seal the victory … as a freshman … played on the scout team.
Personal: Son of Hope and Fred. Has a twin brother Fred (21), and a brother Daniel (19) … Black Student Union member … Member of the National Society of Black Engineers … designed web pages for the Hotel Bethlehem during the summer of 2005.
