Jason Miran joined the Lehigh football coaching staff as wide receivers coach for the 2010 season.

Miran comes to Lehigh after spending the 2009 season as the tight ends and assistant offensive line coach at Franklin and Marshall College. Among his duties with the Diplomats, Miran was responsible for practice and game planning, scouting, film preparation and recruiting. Franklin and Marshall went 9-2 last season and won the ECAC South Atlantic Bowl. Miran was a member of the South offensive coaching staff for the Division III Senior Classic. Prior to coming to Lehigh, Miran was elevated to wide receivers coach at Franklin and Marshall for the spring season.

 

A Pottstown, Pa. native, Miran was a four-year team member and two-year letter winner for Penn as a tight end and fullback. As a freshman in 2005, Miran played under Coen, who was the Quakers’ offensive coordinator at the time. Miran saw time at tight end for three seasons before becoming Penn’s starting fullback as a senior. He earned his degree in communications from Penn in 2009.
