Why Lehigh?: “Lehigh offers a very unique combination of outstanding academic and athletic programs. I wanted to be a part of a championship football team, but I also wanted a school with a top business program. That’s exactly what Lehigh had to offer.”
On Coach Coen and recruits: “Coach Coen cares about your development as a person and an athlete. He will push you, but it will be in a positive way and he will make you better. Expect things to be very competitive with him in control, but also expect things to be fun.”
On being a part of the Lehigh football experience: “To be a part of Lehigh Football means you are a part of an everlasting tradition. This is a tradition of excellence and success.”
Will push for time on the offensive line this season … as a sophomore … did not see any varsity action … as a freshman … member of the J.V. team … in secondary school … three year all-conference honoree … team captain as a senior … Michigan Merit Award winner.
Personal: Son of Daniel and Kathryn Tienfenthal. Has a sister, Kaitlin (17).
