Why Lehigh?: “I decided on Lehigh because it was the best school for me as far as football and academics. It is hard to go wrong with a top 30 school academically and a top 25 football school.”
On Coach Coen: “Coach Coen is a personable man who works hard. Our team feels we need to play for and not just each other. We are glad to have him here and we are looking forward to the upcoming season.”
Speedy wide receiver who should see time in 2006 … as a freshman … played in one game … caught a pass for 7 yards in a lopsided win over Georgetown (Nov. 5) … in secondary school … first team all-district cornerback … academic all-district selection.
Personal: Son of Jo Anne and Jon Ivester. Has three siblings: brother Sam (11), and sisters Elizabeth (21) and Emily (16).
