WHY LEHIGH? “I chose Lehigh because of the hard working and competitive environment in both academics and athletics.”
AS A FRESHMAN (2018): Got into 14 games with eight starts, seeing time all over the field … Finished season with five shots (three on goal) … Fired a shot on goal vs. Rider (10/14) … Had two shots (one on goal) a day prior in win over Colgate (10/13) … Recorded a shot against Holy Cross (10/6) … Fired first-career shot (which was on goal) at Georgetown (9/30) … Saw first-career Patriot League action against Bucknell (9/22) … Made collegiate debut in win against Ball State (9/8).
BEFORE LEHIGH: Lehigh's second student-athlete from The Netherlands, joining Lenke Havas … Has played for the selection teams of her age group; selection teams are the top teams, focused on training and guiding the most talented youth … Played on the second-best team in U18 in the sub topklasse, which became the best second team nationwide … As captain, set an example for and motivated the rest of the team … Was the number one runner in the defensive penalty corner, becoming an indoor champion during the 2016 season … Also played for her school team and reached the final in its school league … Received her certificate for Cambridge courses and spoke at a national conference about human ethics … Her art work from her art classes was selected for an art gallery in Utrecht … Also did community work with classmates for elderly.
