AS A SOPHOMORE (2011): Stellar in first-collegiate action after backing up seniors Jessica Miller and Lilia Stefaniwsky as a freshman … Named Lehigh’s first-ever Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year while earning First Team All-League laurels as well … Garnered NFHCA All-Mideast Region honors … Garnered Athlete of the Year honors at team’s end-of-year banquet … Was named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week three times … Led the Patriot League in saves (201) and finished second in save percentage (.773) while posting a 3.57 GAA … Stood second nationally in saves per game (11.88) and 13th in save percentage … Had 12 double-digit save performances on the season … Wrapped up campaign with 18 saves in the Patriot League Semifinals vs. Lafayette (11/4). That helped earn her All-Tournament Team honors … Made five saves (allowing one goal) in regular season finale at Holy Cross (10/29) … Wowed in stopping all 15 of Bucknell’s shots in 1-0 win (10/15) … Made 12 saves a game prior vs. Penn (10/12) … Stopped 11-of-12 shots in 2-1 win over Colgate (10/8) … Posted a career-high 22 saves to keep Lehigh close against Rider (10/2) … Made 11 saves a day earlier at American (10/1) … Also posted double-digit saves in the previous two games - 13 vs. Siena (9/28) and 12 against Maine (9/23) … Stellar at Saint Joseph’s, stopping 14-of-15 shots in slim 1-0 loss … Finished with double-digit saves in each of her first three games of the season - 16 at Monmouth (9/9), 14 vs. La Salle (9/11) and 13 at Quinnipiac (9/14).

AS A FRESHMAN (2010): Did not see any game action, backing up senior standouts Jessica Miller and Lilia Stefaniwsky.

BEFORE LEHIGH: Three-year starter and two-time First Team All-State selection … Was a member of state championship teams in 2006 and 2008 … Received her team’s Coaches Award in 2009 … Helped lead Wyoming Seminary to a 43-2 record over her last two seasons … Member of the Pocono Field Hockey Club … Participated in the Futures program … Has captained both her high school field hockey and soccer teams.

GETTING TO KNOW SIERRA
Why did you choose Lehigh? Lehigh is well known for being a great academic school as well as being competitive in sports. It’s close to home and having my parents be able to visit and see my games was very important to me.
What’s your favorite thing about Lehigh? My teammates. Meeting these girls has changed my life.
Major & Why: Environmental Science and Geology because I want to make a difference in the future.

If I Had $1 Billion, I Would: Give half of it to my parents, give some to each of my siblings (4 sisters 1 brother) and with the rest, travel to Africa and work on getting clean water to all of those in need.
