AS A FRESHMAN (2017): Got into eight games, firing two shots with one on goal, both in season opening win vs. LIU Brooklyn (8/25) … Saw action in the next four games, vs. Ohio State (8/27), La Salle (9/1) and at Sacred Heart (9/3) and Monmouth (9/8) … Also played at Siena (9/17), against Yale (10/1) and in the season finale at Cornell (10/29).

BEFORE LEHIGH: Two-year varsity field hockey captain and two-year Most Valuable Offensive Player at Westhill High School, earning first team All-FCIAC and second team All-State as a senior in 2016 … Team's top goal scorer in 2015 and 2016 … Selected as Westhill's CIAC Sportsmanship representative … In 2015, was named Westhill's Athlete of the Month and FCIAC Scholar-Athlete of the Month, while garnering All-FCIAC West Division … Won team's Most Improved Award as a sophomore in 2014 … Also strong in the classroom, posting an impressive 3.98 GPA, good for the top one percent of her class, with a weighted GPA of 4.45 … Member of the High Honor Roll … Sottosanti stood in the 99th percentile with her PSAT score and was a candidate for the Merritt Scholarship Award … Member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and 700 Club … Garnered the University of Pennsylvania Book Award and was an Entrepreneurship NFTE Finalist.

What’s your favorite thing about Lehigh? The campus! From the library to the mountainside view on the field hockey field, the architecture and scenery all over the school is breathtaking.
Major & Why:Â I applied to the School of Arts and Sciences because I am undecided in my major and want to take a variety of classes to figure out what I want. I have thought about pursuing business or a medical career.
Favorite Class at Lehigh:Â I have yet to find out!
Favorite Place on Campus:Â The library, because it is so quaint and cozy, and I can already envision myself spending lots of time there (although I find myself at the bookstore every time I visit)
