WHY LEHIGH? “After coming up to visit my older sister at Lehigh and watching her succeed in school and on the hockey field, I knew that this was an experience I wanted to take part in too. The size, location, beautiful campus, academics and the wonderful people were obvious reasons why Lehigh was a perfect school for me.”
ON PLAYING FIELD HOCKEY AT LEHIGH: “I love playing with a group of girls who share the same love for the sport and who work hard to reach our team goals!”
AS A JUNIOR (2011): Played in all 19 games (starting 16), anchoring the Lehigh midfield … Posted one point (an assist) in regular season finale at Holy Cross (10/29) … That marked the first assist of her career … Recorded eight shots (four on goal).
AS A SOPHOMORE (2010): Played in 15 of 16 games (starting seven) while scoring her first-career goal … Also had three shots (two on goal) … Netted Lehigh’s only goal of the game at Georgetown (9/11) … Made first-career defensive save against Lafayette (10/23).
AS A FRESHMAN (2009): Appeared in 12 games … Recorded one shot on goal.
BEFORE LEHIGH: Played her club hockey for Majestyx … Participated in Futures Program and USFHA National Festival … Club team won the Pool B Championship at 2007 National Festival … Member of both the PHSFHCA and NFHCA Academic Squads … Sister of former Mountain Hawk Julie Kuhns ’10.
