WHY LEHIGH? “I picked Lehigh because of the perfect balance between academics and athletics, and also from the warm welcome I received on my first visit.”
AS A JUNIOR (2017): Strong campaign, starting all 16 games she played on the back line … Led the Mountain Hawks with three defensive saves, which was tied for 25th in the nation … Had four shots, one on goal … Part of a defense which pitched three shutouts for a second straight season … Defense allowed just 14.1 shots per game, fewest since 2007 … Recorded a season-high two shots at Holy Cross (9/15) … Also had a shot in each of the previous two games, at Monmouth (9/8) and against Ball State (9/10) … Made a defensive save against Ball State, at Sacred Heart (9/3) and against Ohio State (8/27).
AS A SOPHOMORE (2016): Strong sophomore campaign, playing in 15 games with eight starts … Started final eight games of the season … Named team’s Most Improved Player at annual end-of-year banquet … Key part of a defense which recorded three shutouts on the season, the Mountain Hawks’ most since 2004 … Lehigh shut-out two consecutive Patriot League opponents for the first time in program history, shutting out Holy Cross 1-0 (9/30) and Colgate 6-0 (10/8) ... Tied for second on the Mountain Hawks with two defensive saves, at Boston University (10/15) and American (9/24) … Made first-career start vs. Holy Cross (9/30).
AS A FRESHMAN (2015): Got into six games, firing two shots (one on goal) … Both shots came at Towson (9/13) … Made collegiate debut at Monmouth (9/4) … Also played against American (9/19), vs. Siena (10/4), No. 12 Liberty (10/9) and at Cornell (10/25).
BEFORE LEHIGH: Multi-sport athlete at Semiahmoo Secondary School … Member of the Field Hockey BC Program from 2011-15 … Won five consecutive Field Hockey BC Club Championship Gold Medals … 2014 Canada Cup Champion and 2010 BC Summer Games Silver Medalist … Has been a Rob Short Academy Athlete since 2014 … Attended the National Field Hockey Festival in Palm Beach and Palm Springs … Also attended the California Cup from 2012-14 … A soccer standout, was a British Columbia Provincial Champion from 2007-11 and Las Vegas Live Tournament Runner Up from 2008-11 … Captain of the Semiahmoo Totems Basketball Team from 2010-15 … First team district All-Star from 2011-15 … Member of the basketball British Columbia Program from 2010-13.
