BEFORE LEHIGH: McCaffrey arrives at Lehigh after playing at Ridge High School and from NJ GRIT on the club level. Academically, she was a member of the National Honors Society, made honor roll all four years of high school, a two-time Team GPA Award recipient, and a two-time National Field Hockey Coaches Association Academic Squad member. On the field, McCaffrey earned first team all Somerset County, first team Skyland Conference, and North Jersey Field Hockey Coaches Association first team. She received All-Somerset County second team and athlete of the month of September as a junior. She led her team to a County championship three times as well as a Group IV sectional title. Outside of field hockey, she played ice hockey, where she was named captain multiple times during her career. She received the Donna Guariglia Awardand competed in nationals twice. She played lacrosse as well during high school.
