Stacey Blue is entering her third season as full-time assistant coach for the Mountain Hawks field hockey program. Blue, a former team captain at the University of Massachusetts, plays a major role in all facets of the Lehigh program including recruiting and scouting, and works closely with the Mountain Hawks’ attacking players.

Under Blue’s guidance, the Mountain Hawks scored in every regular season game in 2007, and Lehigh’s 40 goals were its second highest single season total in the last 20 years.

A four-year letterwinner at UMass who served as team captain her senior season, Blue helped lead the Minutewomen to three Atlantic 10 championships and three consecutive NCAA Tournament Appearances. Blue was also named to the A-10 All Tournament team in 2001.

A native of Bellingham, Massachusetts, Blue earned her degree in Communications from UMass in 2003. Blue came to Lehigh after serving as an assistant coach at Wilkes University in 2006 season, and Muhlenberg College the previous two years.
