WHY LEHIGH? “I fell in love with Lehigh on my first visit to campus. You couldn't ask for more - a school with a gorgeous campus that is able to challenge me academically and allows me to continue my athletic career at a Division I program.”
ON COACH BLUE: “Coach has an incredible passion for the game and really knows how to motivate our team to push ourselves to be the absolute best that we can be. Coach has great confidence in each and every one of her players which really boosts our self-esteem and allows all of us to play to our potential.”
ON PLAYING FIELD HOCKEY AT LEHIGH: “I couldn't ask for a better and more supportive group of girls to spend so much time with. I know that I could go to anyone and they would be beyond willing to help me in any way that they could. Our team has truly become my family away from home and I love that about us.”
AS A SOPHOMORE (2011): Saw considerable action playing in 17 games, including four starts while scoring a goal and adding an assist … One of nine Mountain Hawks to score a goal this season … Also had five shots (all on goal) … Recorded an assist against Penn (10/12) as part of Lehigh’s first-ever win against the Quakers … Scored first-career goal vs. La Salle (9/11) to help lead the Mountain Hawks to a big overtime victory.
AS A FRESHMAN (2010): Saw action in eight games on the season, against Sacred Heart (8/27), Georgetown (9/11), Monmouth (9/17), Siena (9/22), American (10/2), Cornell (10/10), Lafayette (10/23) and American (10/30).
BEFORE LEHIGH: First Team All-PAC 10 selection and a Second Team member of the All-Southeast Pennsylvania Field Hockey team after registering 18 goals and 22 points … Helped lead Owen J. Roberts to its best season in school history, which resulted in a conference title and a berth in the state playoffs … Finished her high school career with 32 goals and 22 assists.
