WHY LEHIGH? “Lehigh has opened so many doors for me and I have met so many amazing people. I love the way I am challenged academically and encouraged from my professors to push myself in the classroom. There’s a nice for everyone.”
ON COACH BLUE: “Coach Blue truly understands the unique chemistry our team has and she embraces it. She knows what amazing potential we have and she pushes us to be the best we can be. I love her calm nature, but has the attitude to get us to work hard.”
ON PLAYING FIELD HOCKEY AT LEHIGH: “The team is the most amazing/funny/supportive group of people I have ever met. The chemistry we have is unbeatable and I believe it is what makes us different from any PL team. We all know what hard work is and we all want to win, no matter what it takes. The coaching staff is great; they make us push ourselves to our limits because they know we have amazing untapped potential.”
AS A SENIOR (2011):Finished second on the Mountain Hawks with 19 points behind seven goals and five assists … Point total was fourth best in the Patriot League and goal total sixth … Five assists led the team and were good for eighth in the league… Named Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year while cracking the All-Academic Team for the second straight season … Earned team’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year honor at squad’s annual end-of-year banquet … Posted game’s first goal as part of 3-1 win at Holy Cross (10/29) … Scored a goal in consecutive games, against Penn (10/12), then Bucknell (10/15) … Goal against the Bison was the only score of the game, to give Lehigh a huge 1-0 league victory … That upped her point streak to five straight games. Recorded a point in each game of Lehigh’s five-game homestand … Tallied an assist against Cornell (10/9) … Posted a goal against Colgate (10/8) and assist vs. Rider (10/2) … Recorded an assist at home vs. Siena (9/28) … Scored for the second-straight game, at Quinnipiac (9/14) … Career game vs. La Salle (9/11), scoring two goals and adding an assist for a career-high five points.
