Venues - Goodman Stadium

QUICK LINKS

HISTORY
Lehigh University’s Goodman Stadium opened in 1988 and located off Interstate-78 about 3 miles from the historic Taylor Stadium, which stood on the main academic campus, Asa Packer, from 1914 to 1987.  This 16,000-seat facility has South Mountain as its scenic backdrop with a spacious stadium house located at the stadium's north end directly below the scoreboard. The facility provides first-rate accommodations for both teams on game day including offices, locker rooms, equipment rooms and an athletic training facility.  Goodman Stadium is consistently recognized for having the "Best Game Day Atmosphere in the Patriot League".

The stadium is the home of the Lehigh University Mountain Hawks football team who compete in the Patriot League at the Division I Football Championship Subdivision (or FCS) level. Located in a rural valley surrounded by wooded hills, its ample nearby parking makes tailgating before games very popular. Concession stands protected from the weather and large indoor restrooms are provided on both sides of the stadium. It also features a three-tiered press box and limited chair back seating.
