Why Lehigh? “Because I liked the atmosphere of the wrestling team and how well I got along with everyone.”

In 2014-15: Moved up two weight classes to 197… qualified for second straight NCAA Tournament with fourth place showing at EIWA Championships… went 17-13 against challenging schedule… earned strong victories over Northwestern’s Alex Polizzi and Harvard’s James Fox… finished with eight bonus wins… opened season by winning title at Clarion Knight Point Open… finished fourth at the Southern Scuffle.
In 2013-14: Won starting spot at 174… went 25-12 with eight bonus wins… qualified for NCAA Championships with third place finish at EIWA Championships… reached the round of 12 at NCAAs, falling one win short of All-America status… won six bouts by major decision… placed fourth at season-opening Clarion Knight Point Open.
In 2012-13: Deferred eligibility… went 18-9 competing unattached in open tournaments… bounced back from early season injury to place in three tournaments… completed season by winning 174 pound title at the National Collegiate Open… also placed fifth at Wilkes and F&M Opens.
In secondary school: Ranked No. 72 overall by Intermat … accumulated a career record of 141-26 … Won a Pennsylvania AA State Title as a senior at 170 lbs. … placed fourth at states at 160 lbs. his junior season…won district and regional titles as a junior and senior … took second at both Super 32 and Beast of the East … placed third at the Walsh Ironman.
