In 2010-11: Finished freshman season with 21-10 record, including team-leading 11 falls… qualified for NCAA Championships after placing fourth at EIWA tournament… earned No. 11 seed at 174 at NCAA Championships… went 0-2 at NCAA Championships after being hampered by injury… placed 
fourth at the Midlands Championships, winning the award for most falls, as he pinned three men in 10:44… pinned eventual NCAA runner-up Nick Amuchastegui of Stanford at Midlands.... pinned four straight opponents in duals against Virginia Tech, Harvard, Brown and American.
