Why Lehigh: “I never spoke to anyone who didn’t have nice things to say about Lehigh. I wanted to be somewhere where I was happy. I came up over the summer and saw how close the team was, and I just felt comfortable right away. It was never much of a decision for me. I love it here.”
In 2006-07: Saw action in seven duals as a backup at 174 and 197. Made varsity dual debut up two weight classes at 197 in season opener versus Rider… competed at Southern Scuffle in late December.
In 2005-06: Wrestled two bouts at early-season Slippery Rock Open
In 2004-05: Went 1-2 at West Virginia Open…picked up pair of wins at TCNJ Open… also competed at
In secondary school: Multiple time place winner in Pennsylvania Prep tournament… ranked No. 1 in the state in preps before injury cut short senior year… team captain as a senior… lettered in football and soccer as well as wrestling.
