In 2001-02: Deferred his eligibility … finished fifth at the Junior World Trials … won the Edinboro open and finished 5-1 on the season.
In secondary school: Rated number two nationally by InterMat at 171… posted a 42-0 record as a senior winning districts, regional, and state championships… did not yield a takedown his entire senior season… was 118-29 in his career… earned second team High School All-American accolades… as a junior finished fourth in the state losing to Troy Letters in the semifinals.
Personal: Son of Mike and Linda Frick… father Mike was a two time national champion and three-time All-American for Lehigh… Mike is a member of the Lehigh Athletics Hall of Fame and was the Outstanding Wrestler of the 1975 NCAA Championships… Travis’ uncle Jim Frick was a two-time EIWA runner-up… currently pursuing masters degree in Management Science
