In 2002-03: Moved into starting line-up, rising as high as No. 14 in the national rankings...placed second at EIWA Championships...won a career high 23 matches...15 wins by bonus points, including seven technical falls
In 2001-02: Wrestled behind four year starter Shawn Laughlin… posted a 3-4 record on the season…finished sixth at University Nationals during the spring… scored 29 points in his three dual meet wins… overcame two knee surgeries to compete… two of his losses were to NCAA top ten wrestlers.
In 2000-01: Finished 8-5 overall and 3-1 in dual meets… recorded two falls in dual meets.
In 1999-00: Deferred eligibility but finished 6-5 wrestling unattached…fourth at the Edinboro Open.
In secondary school: Placed second at 215 pounds in the New York State Championships as a senior and sixth as a junior… played baseball (outfield) and football (tight end) in high school.
Personal: Son of Kathy and Joseph Sahl… sister Bronwen.
