Why Lehigh? “I grew up around the area looking up to Lehigh and it is the perfect fit for me. A great blend of strong academics and wrestling.”
In 2023-24: Wrestled only two official bouts at Princeton Open.
In 2022-23: Wrestled three official bouts at Princeton Open, going 2-1.
In 2021-22: Posted 3-3 record in six bouts at 184… went 3-0 to win 184D pool at Journeymen Collegiate Classic… wrestled in three extra countable bouts following duals… victories included a pin and major decision.
In 2020-21: Wrestled seven official bouts… started final three duals of regular season at 184… debuted with 4-0 win over Pitt’s Nicholas Meglino in extra match following January dual… went 3-1 in extra matches, including first period pin of LIU’s Joe Lopresti.
In high school: Posted 119-31 career record… District XI champion… two-time Northeast Region finalist… owns an eighth place finish at state tournament… three-time All-Conference… Pennsylvania state freestyle champion… EPC Scholar-Athlete… National Honor Society member.
Personal: Son of Joseph and Stephanie Wright… sisters Courtney Dreas and Camilee Wright.
