Why Lehigh? “The great combination of academic and athletic success was perfect for me. My official visit was the icing on the cake. I felt like I was at home.”
As a senior (2019): Started nine games in Lehigh’s secondary… one of three Lehigh players to record two interceptions… season-high eight tackles and a tackle for loss at Sacred Heart (11/16)… picked off pass against Merrimack (9/28)… recorded interception against Bucknell (11/9) for second consecutive season… finished with three pass breakups.
As a junior (2018): Started all 11 games at cornerback… made 44 tackles and finished with five pass breakups… had season-high eight tackles in season finale at Lafayette (11/17)… added two pass breakups in that Rivalry game… 1.5 tackles for loss at Georgetown (10/20)… credited with blocked field goal in that game as well… recovered two fumbles… had 65-yard interception return touchdown against Bucknell (11/3).
As a sophomore (2017): Saw time in all 12 games, starting final five at cornerback… finished eighth on team in tackles… made 10 tackles and had two pass breakups at Bucknell (11/4)… had five tackles at Wagner (9/30) and Stony Brook (11/25)… first career tackle for loss versus Yale (9/16)… forced two fumbles.
As a freshman (2016): Appeared in all 12 games, primarily on special teams… notched eight tackles… recorded two tackles in wins against Yale (10/1), Colgate (10/8) and Lafayette (11/19).
In high school: Second team All-Broward County… started in East-West Broward All-Star Game… first team Certified Sleepers.
Personal: Son of Marnita Ward and Hawathia Wilson… has four older siblings: Traveres Wilson, Shayla Wilson, Dominique Wilson and Rashaad Stubbs.
