Why Lehigh? “Because of the great academics and awesome wrestling team.”
In 2021-22: Wrestled one bout, making dual appearance at 197 vs. Binghamton’s Lou DePrez.
In 2020-21: Did not wrestle in any official matches.
In 2019-20: Posted 5-3 record competing at 184… made dual debut against Navy, beating Hunter Johns 9-5… placed sixth at Wilkes Open in late December… also competed at Princeton Open.
In 2018-19: Went 5-5 competing in two open tournaments at 184… went 3-3 to finish sixth at Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open… went 2-2 at Wilkes Open.
In 2017-18: Deferred eligibility… limited by injuries but went 2-6 competing unattached in open tournaments… competed at Wilkes Open at 197, then dropped down to 184 for Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Classic and Edinboro Open.
In high school: Three-time AAA place winner… owns a career record of 132-27… was a 2016 Allegheny County Champion, a two-time WPIAL finalist and three-time sectional champion… a team captain and three-time team MVP… Outstanding Wrestler of the 2017 Southmoreland Tournament… was also a standout linebacker, team captain and All-Conference performer in football… two-time NHSCA All-American… high honor roll student.
Personal: Son of Mike and Anne Grape.
