WHY LEHIGH?
It’s a great mix of academics and athletics. The campus is beautiful and everyone is very friendly and welcoming.
2019 (FIFTH SEASON)
Played in 14 matches including three starts...tallied a season-high seven kills on two occasions, including in a victory over NJIT (9/10) and against Loyola (11/12)...Registered a season-high four total blocks in a straight-set victory at Loyola (10/15)...Finishes five-year career with 450 kills, averaging 1.94 kills per set. Also finishes out career with 111 total blocks and 99 block assists...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2018 (SENIOR SEASON)
Saw action in 21 matches, including three starts...Against George Mason (9/14), she registered six kills and six blocks ...she hit a .224 on the season and finished with 51 kills and 22 total blocks...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2017 (JUNIOR SEASON)
Saw action in 26 matches, including eight starts…ranked fifth on the team with 138 kills…has posted 100-plus kills in back-to-back seasons…recorded a season-best 17 kills in a 3-1 victory over Loyola (10/7)…posted a season-high seven blocks in a 3-0 win over Hartford (9/16).
2016 (SOPHOMORE SEASON)
Saw action in 28 games, starting 15… tallied 204 kills and 44 total blocks on the season… tallied 22 kills against Central Connecticut State (8/27)… recorded six kills and a .556 hitting percentage against American (11/5).
2015 (FRESHMAN SEASON)
Missed a majority of the season due to injury…appeared in five matches and 10 sets…tallied 15 kills, four total blocks and four digs…recorded 12 kills and a .400 hitting percentage against St. Francis (8/28)…named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

BEFORE LEHIGH
Hemsath comes to Lehigh from Cincinnati, Ohio where she was a three-year varsity starter on her McAuley High School team. Hemsath led her league with 336 kills during her senior year en route to first team All-Conference and first team All-District honors. She also earned All-Conference and All-District honors during her junior year and was a two-time recipient of the Scholar Athlete award. As a member of club volleyball, Hemsath twice competed in the Junior Nationals. Hemsath impressed off the court as well as a member of the National Honor Society and History Honor Society in addition to earning awards in math, art and the President's Education Award.
