2015 (SENIOR SEASON)
Strong senior season, leading the Mountain Hawks in total blocks (118) and service aces (43)…tallied 253 kills, the third most on the team, with a .280 hitting percentage…tallied double-digit kills in 10 matches…recorded a season-best 13 kills while hitting .550 against Canisius (9/12)…recorded nine total blocks at Navy (10/23)…named the team’s Outstanding Athlete at the end-of-year banquet…named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2014 (JUNIOR SEASON)
Tallied 50 total blocks, including a team-best 25 solo stuffs…registered a team-high .311 attack percentage to go along with 116 kills…tied her career high with 17 kills and hit .448 in a 3-2 win at Holy Cross (10/25)…stuffed a season-best six blocks at Colgate (10/4)…named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2013 (SOPHOMORE SEASON)
Led the team in blocks with a total of 75, 21 of which were solo stuffs…played in 27 matches and 94 sets…tallied 166 kills throughout the season with an impressive hitting percentage of .279…recorded double-digit kills in five matches, including a season-high 17 in a 3-2 win over Army which was Lehigh’s first win over the Black Knights in ten years…hit .643 with ten kills against Saint Peter’s…notched a season-best six blocks in a come-from-behind 3-2 victory over Lafayette…named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2012 (FRESHMAN SEASON)
Recorded eight kills, five total blocks and hit .389 in her collegiate debut against Rider…Hit .889 with eight kills against Virginia…Had nine kills, two blocks and a .533 hitting percentage against Prairie View A&M…Hit .438 with eight kills and six blocks against Bucknell…Hit .500 with seven kills and five total blocks at Bucknell…Hit .350 with a season-high 10 kills coupled with six blocks against Holy Cross…Had a season-high seven blocks against Army…Registered seven kills and two blocks in the Patriot League Tournament semifinal game against top-seeded Colgate...Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

BEFORE LEHIGH
The Berwyn, Illinois native comes to Lehigh after an impressive career at Nazareth Academy High School. Vrhel was a three-year varsity starter, led her team with 55 blocks, was recognized as an All-Conference performer, selected to two All-Star Tournament teams (Champaign Centennial and Bradley Boubonnais Tournaments), and led her team to the Regional Championship her senior year. The 6-3 middle blocker recorded 183 kills, finished third on the team with 20 aces and was named All-Conference ESCC as a senior. As a junior, she played on the National Champion First Alliance Volleyball Club in Chicago. Vrhel contributed as a starting sophomore on her Nazareth Academy team that won sectionals, advancing to the elite eight. Not only did Vrhel dominate on the court, she was also an Illinois State Scholar, ESCC Scholar Athlete and Honor Roll student.

GETTING TO KNOW ANA
Why did you choose Lehigh? I knew as soon as I stepped foot on campus that I wanted to go here. Everyone was so nice and the campus is so pretty.
What’s your favorite thing about Lehigh? That I get the chance to play volleyball at a very high level and still be challenged academically
