Mountain Hawks land 14 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh volleyball team tied for the league lead in Patriot League Academic Honor Roll members as 14 Mountain Hawks were placed on the list for their performances in the classroom during the fall semester, as announced by the league on Wednesday.
Lehigh and Bucknell each had a league-high 14 honorees on the list, followed by Colgate and Lafayette with 11 apiece. A total of 82 volleyball student-athletes were named to the Honor Roll.
Two-time Academic All-Patriot League member Jade Van Streepen led the way with a perfect 4.0 grade point average during the fall semester in her Environmental Engineering major. The senior wraps up her career in the brown and white as a four-time member of the Academic Honor Roll. Van Streepen was followed closely by sophomores Katie Jennison, a bioengineering major with a 3.94 semester GPA, and Morgan Lowe, a student in Lehigh's College of Business and Economics with a 3.92 GPA.
Nine of the 14 Mountain Hawks named to the Honor Roll earned Dean's List distinction with semester GPAs of 3.6 or higher. To be eligible for the Honor Roll, student-athletes must maintain a 3.2 GPA and be listed on the team's roster.
