FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – Playing in its first event of the fall season, the Lehigh men's golf team carded rounds of 287 and 281 Saturday at the Doc Gimmler, played on the Red Course at Bethpage State Park. The 36-hole total of 568 has the Mountain Hawks fifth out of a 14-team field.

First-year Nathan Le-Nguyen led the way for Lehigh Saturday, carding two rounds of one under par 69 to lead the way. Le-Nguyen totaled eight birdies on the day, including five in round two, and is tied for fifth place entering Sunday's final round.

Sophomore Drew Golden is tied for 15th place at one over par 141 (69-72). Golden made four birdies in round one and added one in round two.

Senior Matthew Quinn is tied for 21st place at 142 (75-67), with his second round 67 leading Lehigh in round two. Quinn made two birdies in round one and made three, plus 15 pars in his second round.

Sophomore Ryan Cronin carded rounds of 74 and 73 and is tied for 51st place. He made two birdies in round one and four in round two.

Junior Noah Zyung is tied for 73rd place at 151 (75-76). Zyung made five birdies, including three in his second round.

Competing as an individual, junior Luke Block shot 148 (72-76) and is tied for 55th place. Block made two birdies in round one and added one in the second round.

Yale leads the team race at 13 under par 547, with the Bulldogs leading host St. John's by 10 strokes.

Theo Snyder from Yale is the individual leader at seven under par 133 (69-64).

The Doc Gimmler concludes Sunday with the final 18 holes at Bethpage Red.
