Seven Greats to be Inducted Into Roger S. Penske/Lehigh Athletics Hall of Fame

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh Athletics plans to induct seven individuals into the Roger S. Penske/Lehigh Athletics Hall of Fame at the annual Hall of Fame Induction Dinner set for Friday, September 18, at the Wood Dining Room at Iacocca Conference Center.

The 2026 induction class includes: Evan Bruno '03 (men's soccer), Greg Clark '78 (football), Cathy Engelbert '86 P'23 (women's basketball and women's lacrosse), John Harmon '59 P'83 (distinguished supporter of Lehigh Athletics), Erin Iwaskiewicz '05 (women's soccer), Kerry (Loughman) O'Hearen '88 MBA'90 P'27 (volleyball) and Will Rackley '11(football).

Evan Bruno
An offensive force for a Lehigh men's soccer program that qualified for the NCAA Tournament in two of his final three seasons, Evan Bruno ranks third in program history with 40 career goals and 101 career points. Bruno collected three consecutive first-team All-Patriot League honors and three consecutive first-team All-Region plaudits from 2000-2002. He scored 18 goals in 2000, a mark that ranks second in school history, helping Lehigh to its first league title and NCAA Tournament appearance. Bruno captured third-team All-America honors as a junior in 2001 and was a two-time Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year, winning the award in 2000 and 2002. As a senior, Bruno led Lehigh to the No. 1 seed in the Patriot League Tournament and an at-large NCAA berth.

Greg Clark
The defensive captain for Lehigh's 1977 national champion football team, Greg Clark was a standout at defensive end for the Engineers. Clark originally came to Lehigh as a fullback before shifting to defense prior to his junior season. He totaled 171 tackles over those final two seasons and 45 tackles for loss, including an incredible 38 stops behind the line of scrimmage during the 1977 championship campaign. Clark garnered All-East distinction and was an honorable mention All-American as a senior. The ABC television broadcast selected Clark as defensive player of the game in Lehigh's 33-0 shutout of Jacksonville State in the Pioneer Bowl as Clark had a forced fumble and fumble recovery as part of a dominant defensive effort by the Brown and White that secured a national title.

Cathy Engelbert
A two-sport standout, Cathy Engelbert captained both the women's basketball and women's lacrosse teams. On the basketball court, Engelbert played for Hall of Fame coach Muffet McGraw and helped lead Lehigh to an East Coast Conference championship in 1986. A two-time All-ECC honoree in basketball, Engelbert scored 861 points while shooting nearly 50 percent from the field for her career. Engelbert played defense for the women's lacrosse team and earned a pair of All-ECC honors while adding IWLCA All-Region recognition in her senior season. After graduation, Engelbert went on to work for Deloitte and in 2015 became the first woman to be named CEO of a "Big Four" accounting firm. Since 2019, Engelbert has served as commissioner of the WNBA.

John Harmon
A 1959 Lehigh graduate and lifelong fan of Lehigh sports, Harmon attended hundreds of football games, wrestling matches, and other events over his lifetime, with his loyalty, love of Lehigh, and generosity in supporting the university proving to be exemplary and distinctive. Commitments by Harmon and his family included the wrestling scholarship program, Grace Hall and Caruso Complex facility projects, an endowment fund to support wrestling's assistant coaches, the press box and Skybox in Goodman Stadium, and more. Harmon spent many years providing voluntary support to the sport of wrestling, serving as information director for the EIWA and as editor of the EIWA Newsletter and the National Mat News. Harmon passed away in 2017.

Erin Iwaskiewicz
One of the most accomplished goalkeepers in Lehigh women's soccer history, Erin Iwaskiewicz helped lead the program's emergence in the mid-2000s. A four-year starter in goal, Iwaskiewicz was a three-time first-team All-Patriot League selection and garnered a pair of Patriot League major awards in her career. She graduated in 2005 as the program's career leader in victories and goals-against average. Iwaskiewicz was named the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year in 2003 and was named the league's first ever Goalkeeper of the Year in 2004. As a senior, Iwaskiewicz posted a 1.23 goals-against average and seven shutouts while co-captaining the Mountain Hawks to a then-record 12 wins and a berth in the Patriot League championship game.

Kerry (Loughman) O'Hearen
A standout on the volleyball court, Kerry (Loughman) O'Hearen completed a decorated career as a three-time All-ECC performer and two-time PAIAW All-Star. Her name continues to appear consistently in the top 15 in a number of categories in the Lehigh volleyball record book. Loughman burst onto the scene with 376 kills as a first-year in 1984 and graduated with 1,297 to rank fifth in program history. A second-team All-ECC honoree as a sophomore, Loughman moved up to the first team as a junior, leading Lehigh in kills (315), aces (97) and digs (336) while adding the first of two All-PAIAW awards. Loughman's 97 aces in 1986 rank second on Lehigh's single-season list where she still ranks in the top 10 on Lehigh's career lists for kills, kills per set, total attacks, service aces, solo blocks and blocks per set.

Will Rackley
One of the most decorated offensive linemen in Patriot League football history, Will Rackley was a three-time first-team All-Patriot League honoree and two-time All-American, who capped his Lehigh career with a Patriot League championship and second round NCAA playoff appearance. As a first-year, Rackley became the first-ever freshman to start on the offensive line for coach Andy Coen. He eventually settled in at left tackle for the Mountain Hawks, earning All-America honors as a junior. Rackley was named a team captain in 2010 and was a first team Associated Press All-American after leading Lehigh to a 10-3 season and a Patriot League title. He went on to be selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the 76th pick in the 2011 NFL Draft and played three seasons in Jacksonville, starting 25 games on the offensive line.
