Meadows Selected to Lead Lehigh Men's Golf Program

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh Athletics has announced Dustin Meadows as the new head coach of the Mountain Hawks' men's golf program. Meadows comes to Lehigh following three successful seasons as the head men's golf coach at Piedmont University in Georgia.

"I would like to thank Dean of Athletics Jeremy Gibson, Deputy Director of Athletics Sue Troyan and Director of Golf John Manos for this opportunity," Meadows said. "In talking with them throughout the process, I could see the passion for the University and specifically the golf program. I am honored that they have given me the trust and fidelity of being the next head coach of the men's golf program. It was clear in my initial conversation with John that we shared the same vision for what Lehigh golf can be and should be. His passion for his players and this program was a big reason why I considered the position and I can't wait to see what we will build together."

Meadows guided the Lions to three consecutive conference championships in three seasons at the helm. Piedmont competed at the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament in each of the last two seasons, with Meadows recognized as the Collegiate Conference of the South Coach of the Year in 2025. Under Meadows' guidance 10 players earned All-CCS honors, including Braden Kiley, who was named Rookie of the Year in 2026. Adam Rogers earned GCAA/PING All-Region honors for the Lions last season.

Prior to Piedmont, Meadows served as head coach at St. Andrews University in North Carolina. His college coaching career began with an assistant position at Longwood in 2018, where Meadows contributed to the largest recruiting class in program history. Meadows was also an assistant coach for the men's and women's golf programs at Ottawa University in Arizona during the 2019-20 season.

Meadows' coaching career began at Prince Edward High School in 2008. He also gained experience as an assistant golf professional at Broad Bay Country Club, Spring Creek, and Poplar Grove Golf Course.

A veteran of the U.S. Marines, Meadows served from 2005 to 2011. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biblical studies from Amridge University in 2016.

Meadows replaces Henry D'Alberto '97, who stepped away from his head coaching position after a 20-season run that included a pair of Patriot League titles and NCAA Regional appearances.

"Henry led the team to two Patriot League titles during his tenure and the program would not be what it is today without his dedication and commitment to making our players better golfers and better young men."

The Mountain Hawks will open their fall season at The Doc Gimmler, hosted by St. John's, Sept. 12-13 at Bethpage State Park.
