BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Five home duals plus two tournaments at Stabler Arena highlight the 2024-25 Lehigh wrestling schedule, announced Monday. Earlier Monday, Lehigh announced that the annual rivalry dual against three-time defending national champion Penn State will be held Sunday, December 8 at PPL Center in Allentown.

The Penn State match will be the second collegiate wrestling event at PPL Center, with Lehigh setting a home dual meet attendance record of 9,896 at the first PPL Center dual with Penn State in 2017.

In addition to the Penn State match, Lehigh will host four duals at Leeman-Turner Arena at Grace Hall. Lehigh will host the Sheridan Tournament in December for a second straight year and the Mountain Hawks will also host the 121st EIWA Championships, March 7-8 at Stabler Arena.

Lehigh wrestling season ticket renewals are now underway, with new season tickets now on sale. Tickets for the Penn State match will go on sale September 23 along with Lehigh wrestling flex plans. Single match tickets will go on sale September 30.

Fans will get their first look at the 2024-25 Mountain Hawks when Lehigh hosts the annual Brown and White Intrasquad at Leeman-Turner Arena at Grace Hall on Thursday, October, 24.

Lehigh will open the season by sending a large contingent to the Princeton Open, November 3 in New Jersey. The following weekend, Lehigh will send wrestlers to the November 10 Journeymen Collegiate Classic at nearby Freedom High School in Bethlehem.

The dual meet season begins Friday, November 15 when Lehigh hosts Morgan State at Leeman-Turner Arena at Grace Hall. The Morgan State dual will serve as Lehigh's Youth Wrestling Night. The Mountain Hawks will then head to Pittsburgh to face the Panthers on November 24.

The 112th meeting between Lehigh and Penn State will be held December 8 at PPL Center in Allentown. More information on that dual can be found HERE.

The fall semester wraps up with the Sheridan Tournament, Friday December 20 at Stabler Arena. Brown, Drexel, F&M, Indiana and Virginia are the teams confirmed to participate in the second annual event.

Lehigh will open 2025 with three road duals as the Mountain Hawks will head to Binghamton (January 11), Cornell (January 12) and then Navy (January 17).

The Mountain Hawks will return to Leeman-Turner Arena at Grace Hall to host American, Friday, January 31 on Takedown Cancer Night, presented by Red Robin in partnership with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The following afternoon, Lehigh will host Army West Point on Salute to Service, presented by Weis Markets.

After trips to Bucknell (February 7) and Penn (February 13), Lehigh will close out the dual season at home against Arizona State on Friday, February 21.

Lehigh may send a contingent to the February 23 F&M Invitational to close out the regular season.

The Mountain Hawks will host the EIWA Championships at Stabler Arena for the first time since 2020 on March 7-8.

It will be a short trip for the NCAA Championships as Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia will host the national tournament for the first time since 2011, March 20-22.

Ticket information for both the EIWA and NCAA Championships will be announced later this fall. With a significantly higher ticket demand for the NCAA Championships in Philadelphia and an expected limited supply available to Lehigh, we highly recommend that as many fans as possible purchase NCAA Wrestling Championship tickets from any source possible, as soon as possible.

Lehigh's 2024-25 roster features seven returning NCAA qualifiers, four returning EIWA champions and a trio of returning All-Americans in Michael Beard, Ryan Crookham and Luke Stanich.

The 2024-25 Lehigh wrestling season is presented by the Historic Hotel Bethlehem.
