BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh women's basketball head coach Addie Micir has announced the addition of Allison Chernow to the Mountain Hawks' staff. Chernow rounds out Micir's staff for the 2024-25 season and will join associate coach Kait Cresencia and assistant coach Maggie Gallagher.

"We are so excited to announce Allison Chernow as the final piece to our staff," said Micir. "Allison is a thoughtful, engaging, and passionate coach whose experiences will serve her well here at Lehigh. A connector by nature, who is experienced in leadership development and team development, she embodies our 'Learn. Grow. Lead.' mentality and will be an asset to our program."

Chernow comes to Lehigh after spending the last four seasons at Wheaton College. Chernow was the interim head coach for the 2023-24 season and an assistant coach and the recruiting coordinator from 2020-23.  The Dresher, Pa, native guided the Lyons to double digit wins during the 2023-24 season. In the previous year as an assistant, the Lyons also achieved double digit wins in 2022-23 with Chernow's help.

"I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Lehigh women's basketball program," said Chernow. "Lehigh is an institution that truly cares about and values the student-athlete experience. I fully believe in coach Micir's vision for the program and am thrilled to get to work alongside her, as well as the amazing staff and team!"

Prior to coming to Wheaton, Chernow played four years at Emory University, where she was a two-time captain and a two-time UAA All-Association second team honoree. Chernow graduated from Emory in 2020 with a degree in media studies.
