BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Nine home dates including seven duals highlight the 2023-24 Lehigh wrestling schedule announced Wednesday. The Mountain Hawks will wrestle seven home duals inside Leeman-Turner Arena at Grace Hall, along with the Sheridan Invitational Tournament, set for Dec. 22 in Stabler Arena.

Season ticket renewals and new season tickets go on sale on Wednesday, Aug. 16 while single match tickets will go on sale Sept. 6. The season ticket package includes all eight dates at Leeman-Turner Arena at Grace Hall, plus the Sheridan Invitational.

Lehigh's dual schedule features three top 10 teams from last year's NCAA Championships and five of the top 20 team finishers from last year's national tournament.

Fans will get their first look at the 2023-24 squad with the annual Brown and White Intrasquad, set for Thursday, Oct. 26.

The regular season will begin with Lehigh sending a contingent of wrestlers to the Nov. 5 Princeton Open and then the Journeymen Collegiate Classic, Nov. 12 at Freedom High School in Bethlehem.

The dual meet season begins at home on Sunday, Nov. 19 as Lehigh welcomes Pitt to Leeman-Turner Arena at Grace Hall.

December begins with two tough road tests prior to final exams. Lehigh visits two-time defending national champion Penn State, Dec. 3 for the 111th meeting in its most-contested dual series. The Mountain Hawks will then continue a recent home-and-home series with Oklahoma State with a Dec. 8 dual in Stillwater, Okla.

Lehigh will host the Sheridan Invitational Tournament, Friday, Dec. 22 at Stabler Arena. The Mountain Hawks will host an in-season tournament at Stabler Arena for the first time since the late 1990s. Lehigh began hosting a tournament honoring legendary former coach Billy Sheridan in 1979. From 2000-2003, Lehigh held the Sheridan Duals, a multi-team event at Stabler Arena. Since the 2004-05 season Lehigh had honored Sheridan with a single home dual against a high-profile opponent.

The Mountain Hawks will begin 2024 with four home duals against EIWA opponents in January. Lehigh returns to Leeman-Turner Arena at Grace Hall to host Binghamton on Jan. 12 and then will wrestle Cornell on Jan. 13. Penn comes to town on Friday, Jan. 19 and Lehigh will host Navy on Saturday, Jan. 20 to conclude the home stand.

Following a weekend off from dual competition, Lehigh will visit Army West Point on Feb. 3 before returning home for its final two home duals. The Mountain Hawks will host Bucknell on Friday, Feb. 9 and then conclude the home schedule against Princeton on Saturday, Feb. 17.

The regular season concludes with a trip west to face Arizona State the weekend of Feb. 24.

Bucknell will host the EIWA Championships, Mar. 8-9 at Sojka Pavilion, while the NCAA Championships will be in Kansas City, Mar. 21-23.

Lehigh returns eight wrestlers that competed at last year's EIWA Championships and seven that have previously qualified for the NCAA Championships.
