Lehigh Remains in 10th Place After Day Two of Lady Bison Invitational

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. – The Lehigh women's golf team matched its opening round score of 323 on day two of the Lady Bison Invitational, Monday at Bay Point Golf Club. First-year Evelyn Wong shot two over par 74 to match classmate Yuki Zhu's Sunday 74 as the low round for the Mountain Hawks through 36 holes of play. Lehigh remains in 10th place out of 15 teams with a score of 646.

Wong's 74 featured birdies on holes 15 and 17. She is currently tied for 21st place at 157 (83-74).

Zhu continues to be the low Mountain Hawk as she is tied for 19th place at 156 (74-82). She made one birdie in her second round Monday.

Sophomore Madison Pineda also delivered a sub-80 round Monday, shooting 79 with one birdie to her credit. Pineda is tied for 37th place at 161 (82-79).

Senior Iris Shin carded an 88 that featured a birdie on hole No. 10 and is tied for 66th at 172 (84-88). Classmate Hannah Foster is tied for 77th at 178 (87-91).

Host Lipscomb continues to lead the team race at 599 (291-308), eight strokes ahead of Florida Gulf Coast.

Sarah Frazier of Dayton and Siarra Stout of Lipscomb are tied for the 36-hole individual lead at one over par 145.

The Lady Bison Invitational concludes Tuesday with the final 18 holes of play. A shotgun start is once again set for 8 a.m. CT.
