
Mountain Hawks Welcome Yale on Friday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - After two straight road games, Lehigh women's basketball returns home to Stabler Arena on Friday as the Mountain Hawks host Yale at 6 pm.
Lehigh comes into Friday's game with a 3-0 record, and Yale is 0-3. The Mountain Hawks defeated Delaware 78-77 in their most recent game. The Blue Hens missed the game-winning basket, and Ella Stemmer corralled the rebound to secure the win for Lehigh.
Stemmer had a fantastic game for Lehigh, scoring a career-high of 26 points. In Lehigh's three games this season, there have been three different leading scorers. In the first game against East Stroudsburg, Remi Sisselman had a game-high of 17 points.
It was Lily Fandre who had a game-high of 16 points to lead the way against Stonehill. Fandre also recorded her first career double-double against Stonehill (16 points and 12 rebounds).
The Mountain Hawks have accumulated 22 blocks in their three games this season. Lehigh currently ranks 11th in the nation with 7.3 blocks per game.
