Kahn Selected to Academic All-Patriot League Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – A day after being named a second team all-league honoree, senior Maddie Kahn has another accolade on Wednesday, as she has been selected to the Academic All-Patriot League Team. A management major, with a 3.59 grade-point average, Kahn has garnered this honor for the first time in her career.

Academically, Kahn has been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Academic Squad three times (2019, 2020 and 2021) and two-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll (2019 and 2021).

On the field this season, Kahn has amassed over 1,116 minutes in goal, starting in all 18 matches for Lehigh. She has a 1.99 goals-against average, a save percentage of .741 and recorded 106 saves to post a 11-7 record. Kahn leads the league in saves per game with an average of 5.89 saves per contest and tied for second in number of shutouts with three. Kahn made a career-high in saves this past season against Boston University, making 18 saves, which is one of four times she recorded double-digit saves.

Kahn and the Mountain Hawks will take on American, in the semifinal of the Patriot League Tournament Thursday at 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
