Mountain Hawks 10th After Day One of The Doc Gimmler

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – In its second weekend of the fall season, the Lehigh men's golf team stands 10th after day one of The Doc Gimmler, hosted by St. John's on the Red Course at Bethpage State Park. The Mountain Hawks shot 585 over 36 holes on Saturday (299, 286), led by junior Sam Barton who finished three-over-par 143 on the day.
Behind Barton was junior David Hurly (tied for 39th, seven-over-par 147), sophomore Edmund Broderick (tied for 51st, nine-over-par 149), freshman Jahan Bains (tied for 59th, 10-over-par 150) and junior Daniel Song (tied for 67th, 12-over-par 152).
Columbia stands in first as a team after Saturday, shooting one-under-par 559. Jack Simon of St. John's and Sho Wai Wu of Yale are tied for first individually at two-under-par 138.
The Mountain Hawks will conclude The Doc Gimmler with the final 18 holes on Sunday.
