BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh women's tennis program announced the addition of two players to the 2019-20 season. Newcomers Ella Imhof and Junmoke James will start competing for Lehigh in the fall.
The Mountain Hawks return seven players from a team that registered eight wins a season ago. In the 2019-20 season, Imhof and James will look to feed off the experience of the seven returning players, hoping to build towards a successful season.
"I'm very excited to welcome Junmoke and Ella to the Lehigh tennis family," said head coach Sarah Hendrix. "They are both super excited to be at Lehigh and will be tremendous additions to our program."
Ella Imhof / Charlotte, N.C.
Competing at Marvin Ridge, Imhof was a two-time 3A NCHSAA Dual Team champion and a 3A NCHSAA individual doubles champion with her sister. The incoming freshman racked up the rankings, with her highest TR ranking being third in North Carolina, 20th in the South and 92nd in the United States.

Junmoke James / Atlanta, Ga.
James comes to Bethlehem after reaching a top 10 ranking in Georgia and a top 50 rank in the Southern region. The Atlanta native won the Indiana ITA Draw B in doubles and singles. In 2016, she was a Georgia state qualifier finalist.

Both Imhof and James will begin play for Lehigh on September 13, playing at the Navy Invitational.
