Lehigh Ice Hockey Falls to Duquesne

Following a 4 hour bus trip, the ice hockey team faced Duquesne. Despite a great performance by goaltender Andrew Carlin to start the game, he unfortunately left the game with an injury in the 1st period when it was 1-0 Duquesne. Freshmen Sean McGowan unexpectedly had to step in net for the remainder of the game and put forth a valiant effort stopping 90% of the shots he faced. In spite of a great 2nd period by the Mountain Hawks, they were unable to score a goal, while Duquesne capitalized on the few chances they had. The final score was 6-0 Duquesne.
    Next up is Mercyhurst to end the long road trip.
